Sea-Air Export Charter Programmes
WSL's Sea-Air export charter programme is an innovative service that provides faster movement than all 'Sea' services, and is more economical than all 'Air' services.
Goods are consolidated
and transported in exclusive-use ocean containers from the
origin to a gateway, that is approximately half the total
distance away. At this gateway, the ocean containers are
devanned and the contents transferred to air carriers (usually
within 24 hours and during the weekend), who then carry
the cargo to the closest destination airport. From the closest
destination airport, goods are cleared and delivered to
the consignee.

Fast, reliable and fully insured domestic trucking services from sea/airport to the point of delivery are offered on the following routes:*

Mumbai - Bangalore - Mumbai
Chennai - Bangalore - Chennai
WSL uses its own fleet of trucks (consisting of both close-bodied trucks and trailers) accompanied by a 2 driver and 1 cleaner crew, to ensure safe transit of the cargo.
*Transportation service for any other route is subject to the volume of cargo.

WSL offers quick customs clearance for all importers. The Company, also - depending on the urgency and assurance of all the papers in order - cleared customs within 4-5 hours of the flight's arrival.
WSL offers consultancy and advisory services on customs clearance issues, and also works out the duty structure -
another unique service that not many freight forwarders offer. The Domestic Air services and Land Bridge services supplement the customs clearance service.

WSL also arranges for door-to-door service, which means that a customer need not worry about the paperwork and customs clearance procedures. WSL handles all requirements smoothly and in time.
Domestic Air Services
WSL offers domestic air
transportation of cargo service from international airports
to cities that are not covered by international flights.
The Company also cuts the domestic airway bill, saving the
importer valuable time and money. WSL is one of the few
freight companies that offer this unique service.
WSL's air and sea transport operations cover a whole series
of time-defined services. From Airfreight - Express, Priority
regular and economy - to the transport of groupage and full
containers by sea. There is also a combined Sea/ Air service.
The Company is customer-specific and can be one stop source
for any global requirements, through high number of traffic
lanes. The Company state-of-art infrastructure and Track
and Trace system monitors customer orders until final delivery.
Having a fleet of over 100 trucks/trailers for cargo collection
and delivery. Warehouse facilities can be provided scientifically
and to the highest standard.
WSL actively participates in supply chain management. The
Company’s role is to facilitate, strategically managing
the acquisition, movement and storage of materials, parts
and finished inventory from suppliers through the organization
and its marketing channels, in a manner, that current and
future profitability is maximized through the cost-effective
fulfillment of orders.
In addition to serving over one thousand domestic customers
WSL has strong international client relationshipss, which
have been built over many years. The Company is particularly
strong in Northern Europe and in the ever-expanding automotive
sector in India. However the scope of its activities cover
the rest of Europe, USA and South America as well as Asia
and it has significant business across manufacturing and
engineering as well as electrical, clothing and pharmaceutical
sectors.
